WorkTango released a number of exciting new Recognition & Rewards platform features and enhancements in our July 2024 Product Release.

Keep reading to learn more about WorkTango’s latest product features and how they help organizations improve (work) lives.

Bulk Recognition

In today’s dynamic workplaces, every employee deserves to be recognized, regardless of their role or position. However, creating recognition equity can be a challenge.

To help platform admins ensure that all of their employees receive shoutouts from the company, their CEO, or even the head of an ERG throughout the year, WorkTango launched Bulk Recognition. This new feature ensures no one is left out and helps to bridge the gap between leadership and employees for a stronger sense of belonging.

Platform admins can easily schedule Bulk Recognitions to large numbers of employees at once. The Bulk Recognition feature allows admins to dynamically select recognition recipients, schedule delivery of a recognition in advance, and customize the sender of the recognition to be their company, a senior leader, or any employee. Bulk Recognition does not require a CSV upload to identify recipients, can be sent to 50,000 employees at once, and even includes a preview widget and budget impact widget to display how many total points will be sent along with each Recognition.

Activity Attributes Dashboard

An essential part of optimizing any workplace employee experience program is understanding how the company is doing when it comes to employee participation in the program. WorkTango Dashboards provide in-platform filterable data visualizations to help admins understand (and ultimately improve) employee activity levels across numerous important product features, such as sending Recognitions or receiving Recognitions.

WorkTango’s new Activity Attributes Dashboard helps admins by allowing them to visualize four overall platform activity levels: Very active, Active, Somewhat active, or Rarely active. Different charts within the Dashboard display employee activity levels by department, by people manager, and more, to equip the admin with detailed information about which teams / departments are most active and which are the least active. Once the admin has this info in hand, they can take a variety of steps to encourage further participation in the program.

User Activity Dashboard

WorkTango’s existing User Activity Dashboard has now been enhanced with new visualizations, in-platform explanations of each graph, and Activity Attributes data. The User Activity Dashboard provides data that summarizes user activity in the platform in order to help admins better understand platform activity trends for their organization. If needed, admins can use the insights surfaced by WorkTango to encourage additional participation from certain employees, managers, or departments.

Admins are able to use WorkTango’s User Activity Dashboard to view:

  • Average number of user actions taken by employees by month, compared to industry and organizational size benchmarks
  • Percentage of employees who are using specific platform features each month
  • Number of employees in each department and level of average platform activity level for that department
  • Individual employees, stack ranked by total number of platform actions
  • Platform participation by department, stack ranked by activity level
  • Direct report platform participation by manager

Activity Feed Filter updates

The real-time Activity Feed is at the center of the WorkTango platform experience. A company-wide activity feed makes it easy to create a company-wide culture of recognition and celebration. Sometimes, however, managers and employees may want to streamline their experience by filtering what they see to reduce noise and focus on what matters most to them.

WorkTango’s newest updates to the Activity Feed Filter are designed to enable managers and employees to do precisely that. Users can now customize their activity feed to suit individual or manager needs and departments.

By customizing the Activity Feed to fit their individual needs, employees are more likely to interact with posts and celebrate their colleagues’ achievements. This fosters connection and boosts engagement levels across the platform, strengthening an employee’s sense of belonging and involvement. With this Activity Feed Filter update, managers can now more easily filter to keep an eye on their team’s successes and recognize and amplify those achievements.

“Your Activity” Dashboard updates

WorkTango’s “Your Activity” Dashboard enables employees to view their own WorkTango platform activity, and provides employees with insights into platform activity trends over time. Employees are able to view their overall activity levels with the platform, as well as how their activity varies by month and which types of activities they complete most frequently within WorkTango in the personalized dashboard. Note: Users can access their data within this dashboard, but not data from peers or any other employees.

This Dashboard has been enhanced in this release with additional visualizations and graphs to make it even easier to interpret.

WorkTango Mobile App updates

Employees who use WorkTango’s mobile app will now find it easier than ever to navigate, thanks to an enhanced Mobile Activity Feed.

WorkTango has updated the Mobile Activity Feed to make the Feed easier to navigate through by increasing the size of visuals and reducing the size of non-critical elements. Mobile app users can also now access a new side panel containing quick shortcuts, to more easily navigate to other parts of the mobile app.
