Sacha de Klerk
Sacha de Klerk is the Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Norton Rose Fulbright. Before moving to Canada in April 2016, she led the firm’s diversity and inclusion strategy across Europe, Middle East and Asia for six years from their London office. She was directly responsible for implementing and making progress against the firm’s diversity targets, improving maternity retention by 14% in two years, launching over 20 Employee Resource Groups globally, creating over 100 work experience places for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and is the founding editor of the firm’s diversity and inclusion blog. The firm has received a number of distinctions internationally and in Canada including being listed as a Stonewall top 100 Employer; The Times top 100 employers for women, one of Canada’s top diversity employers, and most recently the firm has achieved a gold gender parity certification from La Gouvernance au Féminin. She is currently based in Toronto developing the firm’s strategic direction and programming focusing on talent management, recruitment, development and inclusive culture. Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Sacha spent ten years in recruitment for the financial services and technology sectors including leading and creating new student recruitment and development programs across various locations in Europe and Asia.
